��A Distinctive Profile

������� The Coalition for Alternatives to Pesticides (CAP) was founded in December 1999. CAP relies on individual, corporate members and sponsors which support the communication of scientific research, statistics and other pertinent documents to raise awareness on the issues of pesticides and chemical fertilizers used in urban and rural areas.

��Mission

������� Our mission aims to contribute to a major impact upon the media and elected powers to promote environmental change and sustainable development in favor of alternatives to chemical soil maintenance and pest control which are non-toxic, readily available and cost effective.

�������CAP is active in the promotion of alternatives to pesticides everywhere in Quebec and has established network links with similar organizations throughout the country and abroad, disseminating any and all pertinent information and taking action, when appropriate.
